National University of Bangladesh NU has officially announced the admission circular for the 1st year Bachelor (Honours) Professional Courses under the academic session 2025–2026. The admission will be based on applicants’ SSC and HSC results, and a separate merit list will be prepared for each college and course.

Eligibility Criteria for NU Professional Course

- General Students:
Applicants must have passed HSC (or equivalent) in 2023, 2024, or 2025 from Humanities, Business Studies, or Science streams under any recognized education board or Open University in Bangladesh.
Also, SSC or equivalent exam must be passed in 2021, 2022, or 2023. - Technical Education Board Students:
Students who passed:- HSC (Vocational)
- HSC (Business Management & Technology)
- Diploma in Commerce
are eligible if they meet the same GPA requirements mentioned above.
- Diploma Engineering Students:
Students who completed a 4-year Diploma in Engineering (Computer, Electrical & Electronics, or Textile) under BTEB in 2023, 2024, or 2025 with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 (converted to 5.0 scale), and SSC in 2019, 20120, or 2021 with minimum GPA of 2.5 can apply. - O-Level/A-Level Students:
Applicants who passed O-Level (2021, 2022, 2023) with minimum 4 subjects including at least 3 B grades, and A-Level (2023, 2024, 2025) with at least 2 subjects including 1 B grade, are eligible under other conditions.
Application Process:
Interested students must fill out the application form via the official NU admission website and print a copy. The application fee of BDT 1000 must be submitted to the respective college (via mobile banking or directly) by 1 February 2026.
