Jagannath University JnU admission circular for 2025-26 academic year has been published. Admission test will be in 5 units. Second-timers are not allowed to take admission test.

Eligibility of Application
- Students who passed SSC/equivalent in 2022 or 2023 and HSC/equivalent in 2025 can apply.

| C- Unit Faculty of Business Studies | All group | Total GPA 6.50 with GPA 3.00 obtained separately in both SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examinations. |
| D- Unit Faculty of Social Sciences | All group | Must have a total GPA of 6.50 with a GPA of 3.00 obtained separately in both SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examinations. |
| E- Unit Faculty of Fine Arts | Students of all branches can apply. Subject to fulfilling the conditions, students with pre-BFA certificates from national universities can also apply. | Total GPA should be 6.00 with GPA of 2.50 obtained separately in both SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examinations. |
2. Candidates who have passed at least 5 subjects in “O” level and 2 subjects in “A” level in English medium can participate in the admission test. 5 at “O” level and 2 at “A” level ie a total of seven (5+2) subjects with at least a B grade in 4 subjects and a minimum C grade in 3 subjects respectively.

Admission Test
For admission one has to participate in only MCQ. A, B, C, D Unit Exam Duration 1 hour. However, the duration of the E unit exam is 1 hour 30 minutes.
Exam Mark Distribution
MCQ – 72 Marks
From SSC – 10 Marks
From HSC – 18 marks
Total – 100 marks
Each subject will carry 24 marks. Each MCQ will have a value of 0.75 marks, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
