Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) has published the admission circular for the 2025-26 academic session. Below are the details regarding the application process, eligibility, and admission test dates for prospective students.
Eligibility for Application
Students who have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent examination in 2024 or 2025 can apply, provided they meet the specific requirements. However, students who passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent examination before 2022 are ineligible.
Unit-wise Eligibility Criteria
‘A’ & ‘B’ Units:
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in both SSC and HSC exams, with a total GPA of at least 7.50.
- For admission into the Agriculture, Fisheries, and Veterinary & Animal Science faculties, a minimum ‘B’ grade in the fourth subject is required.
‘C’ & ‘D’ Units:
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 in both SSC and HSC exams, with a total GPA of at least 6.00.
For ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level Students:
- Must have at least a ‘B’ grade in five subjects at the ‘O’ level.
- At the ‘A’ level, candidates must secure at least a ‘B’ grade in three subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology/Agricultural Science.

Admission Test Marking System
The admission test will be conducted in Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The merit list will be prepared based on 125 marks (175 marks for Bachelor of Architecture).
- 100 marks from the MCQ test.
- 25 marks from SSC & HSC grades (40% from SSC and 60% from HSC).
- For the Bachelor of Architecture, an additional 50 marks will be assessed through a Freehand Drawing test. Candidates must score a minimum of 15 marks in the drawing test to qualify.
