Application Process
Step 1
Candidate must first apply through Teletalk Prepaid SIM (SMS). In this case, go to the message option and send an SMS to 16222 by typing the following information for admission to the soldier post:
For General (GD) candidates:
First SMS: SAINIK <space> 1ST THREE LETTERS OF SSC BOARD <space> ROLL <space> PASSING YEAR <space> DISTRICT CODE
Example: SAINIK DHA 236098 2018 34 (DHA for Dhaka Board, TEC for Technical Board, BOU for Open University etc, also respective district codes are given below).
For Technical Trade (TT) candidates:
In case of candidates who wish to take admission in Technical Trade (TT), the center code of the center in which the candidate wishes to take the exam and the code of the trade in which the candidate wishes to take admission should be given in SMS. (code is given below)
First SMS: SAINIK <space> 1ST THREE LETTERS OF SSC BOARD <space> ROLL <space> PASSING YEAR <space> DISTRICT CODE <space> TT <space> TRADE CODE<space> EXAM CENTER CODE
Example: SAINIK DHA 236098 2018 34 TT DVR 111 (DHA for Dhaka Board, TEC for Technical Board, BOU for Open University etc. Also respective district codes are given below).
Step 2
Sending the first SMS after an SMS containing a PIN number will be provided to the eligible candidate by Teletalk to verify the candidate’s details. If the concerned candidate is willing to apply subject to receipt of PIN number, he/she has to send 2nd SMS again as mentioned below. Note that a total of Tk 300/- (Entrance Test Fee 200/- and Online Registration Fee 100/-) will be deducted at the time of sending the 2nd SMS, therefore mobile balance should be more than Tk 300/-.
Second SMS: SAINIK<space>YES<space> PIN NUMBER <space> CONTACT MOBILE NUMBER and send to 16222
Example: SAINIK YES 894098 01xxxxxxxxx and send to 16222
Note: In case of female candidates, first and second SMS should be sent by typing FSAINIK instead of SAINIK.
Step 3
After sending the 2nd SMS the candidate will be provided with a USER ID and Password by Teletalk. Login to http://sainik.teletalk.com.bd with the said USER ID and Password and fill the online application form. In case of application, the candidate has to upload a color photograph of 300X300 (length and width) pixels. File size should not exceed 100 KB.
Admit Card
The online application form candidates have to print the admit card After filling . Note that if the admit card is not printed within 7 days of application, it cannot be printed later. All the information filled by the candidate will appear in the admit card. Therefore, without the admit card, the opportunity to participate in the examination will not be given. Every candidate will be notified by SMS about the exam venue and date 72 hours before their respective entrance exam.
