
The National University of Bangladesh has published the detailed admission circular for the 1st Year Undergraduate ( Degree Pass) Program for the academic session 2024-2025 under its affiliated colleges. Below you will find the application process, eligibility, important dates, and program details.

Eligibility for Degree Admission
- SSC/Equivalent: Passed in 2020, 2021, or 2022
- HSC/Equivalent: Passed in 2022, 2023, or 2024 (no minimum GPA requirement)
- Students from Technical Board (Vocational, Business Management, Diploma-in-Commerce) may also apply under the above conditions.
O-Level & A-Level Students must apply directly or via email (degpassnu@gmail.com) with required documents including all transcripts, equivalency certificate from the board, and two attested passport-size photos.
Students already admitted and registered under NU in Honours, Honours Professional, or Degree (Pass) programs for 2022-23 or 2023-24 cannot apply unless they cancel their previous admission within the deadline.

Application Process
- Visit NU’s official admission website: www.nu.ac.bd/admissions
- Select “Degree Pass Tab” → “Apply Now (Degree Pass)”.
- Verify gender and correct if necessary.
- Check the list of eligible programs. Choose your preferred subject and college by district. Review available seats and select your choices carefully.
- Select applicable quota (if any).
- Upload your photo (120×150 pixels, JPG, max 50KB).
- Complete the form with correct information and click Submit Application. Save your Application ID & PIN.
- If required, cancel and resubmit the form.
- Submit the printed application form along with the application fee of 400 Taka to your selected college within the deadline (via mobile banking or directly as instructed by the college).
- Once the college confirms your application online, you will receive an SMS. If no SMS is received, contact the college immediately. Without confirmation, your application will not be included in the merit list.
