Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- Candidates must have passed SSC or equivalent between 2020 and 2023, and HSC (Science/Agriculture Science) in 2025 from any education board in Bangladesh, Open University, Madrasah Board (Science group – Alim), IAL/A-Level (Science group), or any equivalent foreign qualification.
- The combined GPA of SSC and HSC (including 4th subject) must be at least 6.50.
- Candidates must have obtained a minimum GPA of 3.00 separately in both SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations.
- Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in HSC or equivalent level.
Admission Test Details
- The admission test will be conducted in MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) format.
- Total Questions: 120
- Total Marks: 120
- Questions will be available in Bangla and English.
- All candidates must answer questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.
Marks Distribution
- Physics: 35
- Chemistry: 35
- Mathematics: 35
- English: 15
- Pass Mark: 40% (48 marks)
- Candidates scoring below 48 marks will not be considered for admission.
- No negative marking for wrong answers.
Department-Specific Requirements
- Candidates applying for Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), and Civil Engineering (CE) must obtain at least 10 marks separately in Physics and Mathematics in the admission test.
Merit Score Calculation
The merit list will be prepared based on a total score of 200 marks, calculated as follows:
- Admission Test: 120 marks
- SSC/O-Level GPA × 8 = 40 marks
- HSC/A-Level GPA × 8 = 40 marks
Candidates will be ranked according to their merit score.
