Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) has officially announced the admission circular for the academic year 2024-25. Here, we provide all the key details, including application eligibility, process, exam dates, and more, to help interested students.
Eligibility Criteria
- SSC/Equivalent: Must have passed SSC or equivalent exams in 2021 or 2022.
- HSC/Equivalent: Must have passed HSC or equivalent exams in 2024.
- SSC GPA: A minimum GPA of 4.00 (out of 5.00) or equivalent grade.
- HSC GPA: A minimum GPA of 4.00 in each of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English, with a total GPA of at least 18.00 in these subjects.
- O Level & A Level Students:
- O Level: At least five subjects with a minimum grade of ‘B’ in each.
- A Level: Minimum grade of ‘B’ in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
- International Students:
- Must score at least 80% in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English in their 2024 higher secondary or equivalent exams.
- A minimum average score of 70% in secondary or equivalent exams.
Selection Process
- Out of all applicants, 24,000 candidates will be shortlisted for the preliminary (MCQ) exam.
- Qualifying candidates from the MCQ exam will be eligible to sit for the final written exam.
