Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) has published the admission circular for undergraduate programs for the academic year 2025-26. Here are all the details regarding the application process, eligibility, and admission test dates for interested candidates.
Eligibility for Admission Test
General Eligibility
Students who passed their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent (General, Technical, Alim, or Diploma-in-Commerce) examinations in 2024 or 2025 and their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent (General, Technical, or Dakhil) examinations in 2022 or 2023 are eligible to apply.
A Unit Eligibility
- Must have studied Science in both HSC/equivalent and SSC/equivalent.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in both SSC and HSC, with a total combined GPA of at least 6.50.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 in Mathematics in HSC/equivalent (or C grade for A-Level students).
B Unit Eligibility
- Students from the Science, Humanities, or Business Studies Group can apply.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in both SSC and HSC, with a total combined GPA of at least 6.0.
Eligibility for GCE (O-Level and A-Level) Students
- Candidates must have passed at least 5 subjects in IGCSE (O-Level) with a minimum of B grade in 2 subjects.
- In A-Level, candidates must pass at least 3 subjects, with a minimum of B grade in 1 subjects.
Eligibility for Diploma-in-Engineering Students
- Must have passed SSC or equivalent in 2020 or 2021.
- Must have successfully completed a Diploma-in-Engineering program.
