The 1st Merit List of the proposed Dhaka Central University DCU (formerly 7 Govt. Colleges under Dhaka University) has been published. Students who have been allocated a college and subject must confirm their admission by paying BDT 6,500 through Sonali Seba within the given deadline (by 8:00 PM, 28 September 2025). Failure to pay within this period will result in cancellation of admission.
If you are satisfied with your allocated college/subject, you should turn off migration to secure it. Please note, once migration is turned off, it cannot be changed later.
If your top-choice subject from your preference list has been allocated, there will be no migration opportunity.
For students who keep migration on, results will be updated in the next merit lists. You must check each merit list when published.
- If you like the allocated subject, you can keep migration off.
- If not, automatic migration will occur in the next merit list.
Migration will always move upwards in your choice list and depends on seat availability. Both college and subject are subject to migration.
Students who did not receive any allocation in the 1st merit list do not need to pay anything now. When they get a college/subject in the next merit list, they must pay BDT 6,500 via Sonali Seba within the given time to confirm admission. After that, the same rules will apply.
After the publication of the 3rd merit list (between 13 October to 15 October 2025), all students who got allocated in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd merit lists must visit their respective colleges with the required documents for final admission.
