Admission Test Application Eligibility
- Candidates must be Secondary (SSC) or equivalent from 2019 to 2022 and Higher Secondary (HSC) from any Education Board/Open University of Bangladesh in Science/Agriculture group or Alim in science group from Madrasa Board or having IAL/A-Level or equivalent foreign degree in Science group in 2024.
- Total GPA of 6.50 with a minimum GPA of 3.00 in both SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examinations (including 4th subject). However, the candidate must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects in Higher Secondary/Equivalent Examination.
Admission Test:
- The admission test will be in MCQ mode. There will be total 120 marks for total 120 questions.
- Admission test questions will be in Bengali and English; And every candidate has to answer questions on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English subjects. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will carry 35 marks each, and English subjects will carry 15 marks.
- Admission test passes 40% i.e. 48 marks. Candidates scoring less than 48 will not be considered for admission. Note, that no marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
- Candidates seeking admission to Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), and Civil Engineering (CE) Departments must secure minimum of 10 marks in Physics and Mathematics separately in the admission test.
- The merit list will be prepared by determining the merit score out of the total 200 marks including the marks obtained in the admission test (in which admission test 120 marks, Secondary / O-Level or equivalent examination obtained/calculated (including 4th subject) GPA 8 times i.e. 40 marks and Obtained/calculated in Higher Secondary / A-Level or equivalent examination (including 4th subject) GPA 8 times i.e. 40 marks).
